Launched in academic year 2016-17, Alabama is investing in the post-secondary education and training goals of youth who were in the foster care system when they earned a high school diploma or GED, as well as those placed in Kinship-guardianship or adopted from Alabama foster care after age 14.
NOTE: To be eligible for the Fostering Hope Scholarship, you must earn your high school or general education diploma BEFORE you leave care.
